Fixation Induction

With so many inductions to choose from, why go with a fixation induction?

This is Day 9 of Hyp-November.

With an almost infinite number of ways to induce trance and bring a subject down into a state of hypnosis, why would you use a fixation induction? Especially where erotic hypnosis is concerned? There are so many reasons. As someone who makes files and who talks to people over the phone more than anything else, a fixation induction can be a little harder to navigate. You cannot witness the changes in the eyes, the fatigue, the closing of them, the longer blinks… These are things we miss out on. However this induction so many different uses that we don’t really need to worry too much.

How Does a Fixation Induction Work?

To me this induction is mostly based on getting the eyes tired. As the eyes strain there is a tendency to dissociate. The actually fixation is less important. It can be a spiral, a pendant, a spot on the wall. Hell, if you stare at breasts long enough they will have the same effect.

The trick with any induction is to know how to use it. The fixation does not have to be visual either, it can focus on any one of the modalities, though visual is more common. You can easily induce a trance by fixating on a physical stimulus. Imagine stroking for me bringing you to the edge of dissociation, suggestion and absorption. What a beautiful thing. Touching for me and letting go. Allowing your mind to turn to mush as you stroke and touch and give in to the power of the hypnotist. Very fun and exciting.

Top Trance

So I don’t think I have ever really spoken about or even mentioned top trance on this site. It is the state a top or Hypnotist can enter while performing erotic hypnosis. This is often referred to as top space in more classical BDSM scenes.

This is Day 8 of Hyp-November.

So what is Top Trance?

When a subject enters trance it is obvious. There is dissociation, absorption, and suggestion. In top trance it is a little different. There are elements of all three however it is more controlled and kept in check. The strongest element in top trance, for me anyone, is always suggestion. Even as the Tist you enter a state of suggestibility. Since you are driving the scene, and creating the intention it is not the same suggestibility as the subject. More of a state of extreme openness.

Openness and empathy reign in this state. There are moments when my partner’s heart beats in sync with mine. A touch on their skin is felt across my own body. It is very intense.

Is there always a top trance?

Essentially no. The same way there is not always a top space when you are playing. Or sub space for that matter. There is an element of trust and repetition that increases the likelihood of experiencing a more joint trance. It is not something I find myself experiencing in a more professional setting, though it has happened. It is something that happens more when I am with a partner. And we have been playing with erotic hypnosis for a minute. Opening yourself up is always easier with someone you know. Even in a professional setting. There are many subjects who have been with me for close to a decade and they experience trance with me very differently than when they first started!

Empathy and erotic hypnosis are not necessarily two concepts you would expect to see together… But you should. Empathy is so intwined with hypnosis. As the Tist and as the subject you need to be in tune with each other.

This is Day 7 of Hyp-November.

Empathy and erotic hypnosis work so well together

Yesterday was day 6 of Hyp-November. It was a challenging day for me. I am still struggling. I believe that is the motivation for today’s post. There is a collective sadness and grief within my social circle. I needed a day. The intensity of the feelings made me ponder a lot about empathy. So let’s talk about it.

How do empathy and erotic hypnosis fit together?

There is a connection between Hypnotist and subject. It does not need to be a D/s dynamic or even sexual. To be able to read and feel your partner is a beautiful thing. There are some people I spend time with who have no idea how I can read their mind so well. How it was that I knew when to touch where. Was it that I was in their mind completely? It was, but not in the metaphysical sense. I was inside their thoughts and needs. Reading them. I found a way to put myself in their position. (Top trance is a thing, we will have a post about it later.)

Empathy is a muscle. The more you practice it, the easier it becomes. This is why the collective pain is affecting some of us more than others. It is also why I am in your mind and hearing your thoughts before you are even aware of thinking them. As a subject, you can also learn to read the hypnotist. When does their heat beat faster, what actions from you encourages them. Put yourself in their place and see how intense the shared moments will be.

Establishing Hypnotic Intention

How do you go about establishing hypnotic intention? Is it actually an important part of a dynamic? What should you consider intentionally as a subject vs as a tist? Is it important that the intentions match?

Establishing hypnotic intention is so important with Ms AmbreJade

Before approaching any hypnosis session you should focus on establishing hypnotic intention. This could be a goal, a sensation, a corruption (yummy), anything. This is not just for the D-type or the Hypnotist. It is important for both (or all) people involved to create an intention for the experience. Hypnosis is all about intent. There is someone I know how would argue that intention is all you need to send someone into trance. But it is more than that, more than words and experiences. It is about what you want and need from the experience.

Which person is responsible for establishing hypnotic intention?

Is it the Dominant or the submissive that figures it out? Like any dynamic, erotic hypnosis based or not, the experience is shared, the responsibility is shared. What do you want out of the experience? Do you want to feel stronger, weaker? Do you want to share moments of vulnerability? Are you establishing a hypnotic intention focused on silliness and fun?

Neither side can make the decision without the other. Do you intend to have some silliness? Share that with your partner because if they are seeking the experience as something akin to behaviour modification. This plays into negotiations. But it goes beyond that, there is the intention as an experience together and there is an intention for you.

Establishing hypnotic intention for yourself?

This is something for you outside of the dynamic. Maybe your intention is to work on your agency. Perhaps it is to work on a new induction. Maybe your intention is to be so in tune with your partner that the division between you is almost none existent. There are so many different ways to look at it.

The main point, imo, is to make sure you actually think about the experience and what you want from it.

What Makes a Good Hypnosis Negotiation?

A good hypnosis negotiation is often lacking in online, and transactional experiences. Negotiation in transactional sexuality is often thought to be about pricing. It is not. In fact, arguing with pricing will often cause blocking or an increase in rate. A discussion for another time. Negotiation is such an important part of a genuine, authentic beautiful hypnotic experience, and should not be skipped.

This is Hyp-November Day 3.

Good hypnosis negotiations are so important.

I cannot overstate the importance of a good erotic hypnosis negotiation. It sets up expectations for the play but more than that, it established trust and a shared connection. It allows you to determine what will and will not happen during your erotic hypnosis experience. Hypnosis is a state of compromised consent, so we need to full negotiate any and all scenes, especially when the dynamic is new. This is applicable to all sessions, paid, online, in person… All of it.

What do you need to share for a Hypnosis Negotiation?

As your dynamic evolves more information about your partner will be shared, experiences will go deeper and so many opportunities to negotiate and change and play with things. This contrasts with your first experience with someone. I know, “you can do what you want with me?” This is NOT HELPFUL. Pick something you want or decide with your Tist. So what does your partner need to know for a good negotiation?

What are your limits
What are your expectations
Do you have specific induction needs
Do you have any spectrum like behaviours (this can change the way you get to trance sometimes)
Do you have aftercare needs?
How much time do we have?
Can I touch you?
Can you touch me?

Creating Connections with Erotic Hypnosis

Creating connections within a dynamic is not an alien concept when it comes to BDSM. There are so many different ways to create lasting, intense connections among people. Erotic hypnosis creates something truly unique between partners.

This is Hyp-November Day 2.

So many plays have different ways of creating connections. Each unique and each experience is unique. Each dynamic is unique. I think we forget sometime that every experience has so many different variable, but I am getting distracted from my initial point. Different plays create a different type of connection. There are a lot of different plays I enjoy. But there is definitely something special about erotic hypnosis where connections are concerned.

What Does It Feel Like?

Creating connections with erotic hypnosis almost feels like giving a piece of your soul to another. This is not necessarily valid for transactional sexuality or through files. I am talking about trusted, established, safe(r) partners being a piece of you and you being a piece of them. Sometimes I have thoughts that do not belong to me, feelings that run through my body, these are not mine. They belong to my partner. The same happens to them.

I am never the subject, always the Tist and still, there is a connection. There is a piece of me that traded places with them while we played. I cannot think of another play as apt at creating connects save perhaps rope. There is an intimacy that cannot be replicated. As part of a BDSM dynamic, a portion of your Femdom experience trading slivers of your soul seems like quite the connecting act.

Creating Connections with Everyone?

Is this because of my partners? Quite likely. There is a trust and vulnerability that can only come from time together as your genuine, authentic self. Hiding is not possible when you are playing in each others thoughts. There is an openness that exists in very few other places. Erotic hypnosis offers so much to me and still more and more and more being discovered as time passes.

Why I Love Erotic Hypnosis

I am sure I have posted about why I love erotic hypnosis at some point in the past. However it feels like my first Hyp-November post should revolve around why I love it so much. I mean, can you blame me? Hypnosis is such a powerful tool in my tool belt.

This post is day one of Hyp-November.

Want to know why I love erotic hypnosis?

Reasons to love erotic hypnosis:

Let’s start with how it satisfies my main fetish, my biggest turn on, the exchange of power. Power exchange is not absolutely necessary during hypnosis play, but it is for me, usually. It is one things to control someone’s body but to control their mind… their thoughts… their desires…

I love the versatility of erotic hypnosis. Is it the play? Is it added to the play? Are you intensifying things, nullifying others? so many different ways to just play.

There are so many specific reasons I love erotic hypnosis. Experiences that can only be experienced once, are able to be felt and sensed and toyed with multiple times in multiple ways in multiple dynamics. It is so special like that.

Want to feel what it is liked to get your orgasm ripped out of your body just before it happens, not ruining it but completely removing it from existence? With erotic hypnosis you can do that… I have done that. On many occasions.

But those reasons are only the play. there are many more reasons to love erotic hypnosis. There is an intimacy you create with a repeated partner. A shared experience. And with time, a shared consciousness. There is something about knowing the thought you put in their head is present and knowing that when you snap your fingers they will react… It is more beautiful than I could ever describe.

Which is why this is only part 1. I will be expanding on each other those sensations, each of those thoughts and sharing so many more reasons why more people should embrace erotic hypnosis.
